Top Games of the Week: Midland Lee faces San Angelo Central

Midland Lee and San Angelo Central met on Halloween last season, with the Bobcats earning a 49-21 win.

San Angelo Central scored 39 unanswered points before heading into halftime and out-gained the Rebels 506-341 in total yards. Midland Lee didn't score until the fourth quarter, when Aaron Dobbins ran in a 13-yard touchdown.

The Bobcats  went on to win the District 3-6A title with a 9-1 overall record and a perfect league record.

This season, the Rebels (4-4) have already doubled last season's win total with a 28-27 win over the same Abilene team that handed the Bobcats their only loss. Midland Lee and San Angelo Central are tied for second in the district standings with 2-1 records.
